United Methodist membership is open to all baptised people willing to support the church through their prayers, their presence, their gifts, and their service. Many answers to what it means to be a christian, to belong to a church family and Southern Hills in particular can be found in Faith Walk Class 101.

If you, or someone you know desires to become a member or have any questions about membership or baptism, call Dr. Bill Moore at the Church's main office (859)-277-6176.

We look forward to having you in our Southern Hills family.

                 (United Methodist Connection)

The United Methodist Church is called a connectional church. This means there are over 30,000 churches with 9 million members in the United States working through districts and conferences joining together to accomplish the vast outreach of the church around the world. In this connection, each church takes a part in the financial support of a worldwide ministry.

The connection exists in the Kentucky Conference through the local church apportionments where more than 895 churches join forces to meet a wide variety of needs in ministry to help many people. So, as a United Methodist, you are playing a significant role in a multitude of places and touching the lives of millions of people. That is the United Methodist Connection
