"Belonging: Discovering Membership"
What does it mean to be a Christian? What are the benefits of belonging to a church family? What is Southern Hills all about? These questions and others are answered in FaithWalk Class 101. Rev. Bill Moore will teach this class. If you are a member or if you are considering becoming a part of the Southern Hills family, please feel free to participate in this class. One of the best benefits is that you get to meet other great people.

"Becoming: Discovering Spiritual Maturity"
Would you like to grow stronger in your faith? Do you ever wonder what are some helpful habits you can use to develop your spiritual journey?
In Colossians, Epaphras had a goal for the Christians there: "That you may become mature Christians and that you may fulfill God's will for you." We believe in this goal also for the people here at Southern Hills. In our purpose statement we say, "We are a community of Christians, changed by God's love?to Grow in Faith." We will talk about such things in FaithWalk Class 201.
We invite you to join others in Class 201, Discovering Spiritual Maturity. It will be fun to share and to continue this journey together. Rev. Clyde David Burberry will teach this class.

"Serving: Discovering My Ministry and Meaning"
FaithWalk Class 301 is about you and the S.H.A.P.E. with which God has blessed you. S.H.A.P.E. is an acronym for Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences that are yours - compliments of God.
The class is geared toward people at Southern Hills looking for a way to become involved in the ministry of the church, as well as those looking for new or additional places of service. It is also for persons seeking greater significance in their life. Young adults would benefit from Class 301 as they make career plans, since our S.H.A.P.E. is not only ministry but also about our vocation.
Join Rev. Dennis Burrows as he teaches FaithWalk Class 301 to help you take an in-depth look at God's greatest gift to you -YOU.

"Inviting Others - Sharing Your Witness"
Christ told us in The Great Commission to "go into the world". Our church mission statement says that we are "to invite others to belong to Christ". Many of us are uncomfortable about how to carry out this part of The Great Commission. Our FaithWalk Class 401 is designed to help us know how to practice this part of our Christian commitment. This class will be taught by Brad Johnson.
FAITHWALK classes will benefit you (members and non-members alike). We hope everyone will walk with God through these discovery classes.
Want to register or have additional questions? Contact Joyce Storch, Membership Secretary, in the church business office (JStorch@southernhillsumc.org) or call Joyce at 277-6176 one week prior to scheduled class.
