SHUMY (N) (shumm-ee)

Southern Hills United Methodist Youth

SHUMY exists to expose teenagers to God's love: helping youth to grow in a relationship with God, encouraging them to connect with one another, and challenging them to serve others, so that everything they do honors God.

Current Series:

Dead Man's Chest:  We all know that we can't take the treasures of this life with us.  The question is, where are you storing up treasures?  Over the next few weeks, we will be looking at how we can begin to store up for ourselves treasures in heaven.

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6:19-21
